Extensive cleaning work and sewer inspections in the Wipkinger Tunnel

We from Rail & Road AG were recently on duty in the Wipkinger Tunnel in the heart of Zurich. Our special vehicles, including the two-way recycling flushing/vacuum vehicle and the two-way dumper with camera body, carried out extensive cleaning work and sewer inspections (condition recording) for a week.

The work included sewer cleaning, shaft emptying, sewer television recordings and the creation of shaft protocols - essential for the functionality and safety of the underground infrastructure.
