This innovative road-rail vehicle with combined rinsing superstructure and water recycling was developed specifically for use under extreme conditions. The vehicle was in continuous operation in the NEAT tunnel for 5 years. It has an enormous capacity, has 2 separately functioning rinsing reels, is able to recycle the entire rinsing water of 800 liters per minute, to clean it and to make it available to the rinsing pumps during 24 hours. At the end of the day, the concentrate is subjected to chemical-physical treatment so that the purified clear water can be fed into the sewer system on site. With its complete equipment, this high-tech vehicle is used on the rail for all sewer and special cleaning work. In addition, the road-rail vehicle can be used for other services, such as tunnel, rill or trass cleaning. The road-rail vehicle has SBB technical network access (work permit) and a BAV operating permit. 32 tons unladen weight, 12 meters long, 3.7 meters high, 2.5 meters wide, SBB-compliant safety devices, road-rail undercarriage up to 55 km/h.
