Rail & Road AG Sewerage service is a Marquis-Gruppe
company and specializes in high-performance, innovative and efficient solutions for all sewer services for railway operators, track construction companies and planners. We clean and inspect railway track drainage systems along main tracks, stations and tunnels belonging to railway companies.
The preventive maintenance of track drainage systems on the route network, in stations and tunnels is of considerable importance for the safety of railway operations and the preservation of the value of the infrastructure.
As part of the work on the construction of the Gotthard rail tunnel, Rail & Road developed an innovative two-way recycling flushing/suction vehicle. During five years of operation under the most difficult conditions in the NEAT tunnel, the vehicle proved its worth in terms of performance, quality of workmanship and reliability. In addition, its use can be perfectly combined with road-based operations.
Parallel to the road-rail recycling rinsing/suction vehicle, a digital TV system was converted, which can be mounted on a road-rail dumper by means of a special device. This means that the sewer TV work can also be carried out rail-bound and independently of the sewer cleaning work.
Thanks to the sound experience gained from many years of cleaning work in the NEAT tunnel and our high-performance high-tech equipment, we are able to meet all customer requirements on rail and road in a targeted manner.
